Special police units arrested 23 activists in Zagreb, Croatia yesterday night. They were peacefully protesting against unlawful demolition of the old town core, which the mayor gave to his friend to build a shopping centre.

He changed the building laws inside the city zone to pursue his superexpensive and inappropriate projects, all done by his cousins and friends. We have already witnessed public toilets worth millions of €, and now he wants to destroy the downtown center, completely with pedestrian zone, ”protected” architecture, and an old city square “Cvjetni trg” with an architectural disaster of plastic and glass. We are still waiting to hear where did he get 1,29 million € for his president candidature, which he lost.
